postpartum planning
EVIDENCE-BASED PREP WITH A SIDE OF REAL-LIFE POSTPARTUM
What should we expect once baby is here?
You deserve postpartum education that’s inclusive, affirming, and designed with your actual life in mind—not an idealized version of it.
In this class, you’ll hear language that reflects the full spectrum of families. When we talk about feeding, we include breast, chest, body, and bottle feeding. We don’t ask you to subscribe to any one “right” way of doing things—because there are many ways to heal, bond, and grow as a family after birth. We don’t assume you have a village, but help you find what’s accessible to you that might resemble the community you need.
Feeling uncertain about…
Breastmilk? Formula? When to introduce a bottle? Breast-feeding? Co-sleeping? How to get baby used to the crib? Sleep in shifts?
All is welcome in the conversation.
We specialize in teaching adult learners during emotionally intense seasons, creating a blank slate where you can tell us about your unique family, structure, and needs. Think of this class like a cozy living room conversation with your favorite teacher from growing up—intentional, engaging, and never one-size-fits-all.
Whether you’re planning to birth in a hospital, birth center, or at home, you’ll leave this postpartum planning class with:
A clear picture of what the first 12 weeks can really look like— and beyond!
A personalized postpartum plan for rest, recovery, feeding, and support
Tools for navigating mood changes, boundaries, visitors, and relationship shifts
Concrete ideas for how your support people can actually help (without being asked 10 times)
Opportunities to stay connected with a like-minded community after baby arrives
Classes are eligible for HSA/FSA reimbursement.
