Deepen your relationship
2. Postpartum Planning with Tasha Clothier
We spend so much time planning for the “big day” that we often
overlook what comes next - the postpartum period! It is not just
about a new baby! In this section of our Family Bonding Series,
you’ll learn how to plan for your new little one as well as how to
plan your own, much needed, self care. Your recovery from being
pregnant and giving birth, no matter how you do it, is essential to
the health and wellness of your family.

Weekly New Parent Group w/feeding support
Every Monday Morning at 10:30am!
These groups are casual, judgement-free gatherings in which multitasking is the norm. Over cups of coffee and morning snacks, parents are breastfeeding, bottle feeding, changing diapers, exchanging information and resources. The conversations are facilitated by our knowledgable doulas. A Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is also present to assist with basic feeding support and provide weight checks for your baby.
Check out our Calendar for more info!
MindfulNest is a childbirth education series offered in a group setting (listed on our calendar) or privately in your own home by our Doula, Nicolette. Using the lens of Mindfulness, this eight hour series will cover all of the traditional material you would learn in a hospital-based class (stages of labor, interventions and pain management, etc). We will introduce basic anatomy and function of the reproductive organs in order to create a visual landscape of what is happening during birth. We will then learn how to create buffers between our responses and the stimulus that is happening in that landscape. Doing so, allows both the birthing person and support person to stay grounded through increased sensations and emotions.
This mindful birth class caps its enrollment at five families in order to individualize the material and provide space for group discussion. We include a mix of lecture, self-study, media, movement and relaxation techniques. It is ideal for anyone who desires a balanced mix of “woo” and science. To Register, click here!
