Mindful Nest- week one

Week One: Building your Nest!
Creating space in your home and heart during pregnancy

In preparing for the arrival of the babe, often you hear about nesting in your home, but what about nesting in your body?  This class will offer tools for the whole family.  Learn how to navigate new household challenges and joys, while staying connected to yourself and your partner. 

Mindfulness is described as maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations and surrounding environment in a non-judgemental manner. How might you find that practice helpful during pregnancy, labor & delivery and once your is child here?

In this four week series we will explore different mindfulness techniques that feel approachable to each family member's individual learning style and level of comfort.  These techniques are meant to be explored/practiced by the whole family vs only giving perspective to/from the birthing person.  

These classes include a mix of lecture, discussion, media, movement and relaxation techniques. It is ideal for anyone who is either birthing or supporting the labor of a loved one.  Comfortable clothing is encouraged.  No childcare is available for this series. 

$175 per Brave Birth Families & $200 for community Families FOR THE SERIES
$10 off for early birth registration
